We are gearing up for the summer months, and we just can't wait for camp to start in just a couple weeks! We have been working hard preparing the cabins, swimming pool, challenge course, and all of our other activities for our campers arrival! It's gonna be an incredible summer, and we are looking forward to seeing the Lord work in the lives of our campers and staff!

We are pleased to welcome our new Guest Services Coordinator, Charles DeJesus! Charles comes to us from The Salvation Army Schenectady Citadel in Schenectady, New York where he was the Youth Ministry Director. He is anxious to serve and make an impact on the lives of our guests. Charles is joined by his wife and daughter. |

Many homes and businesses have been affected by the Missouri River and Platte River flooding, and unfortunately we are a part of that number. We regret to report that we will be closing our campgrounds on Friday. We will be keeping in touch with our guests who have upcoming reservations, informing them of our availability over the next few months. |

We are delighted to announce the arrival of Charles' new baby boy, Kaleb Myles DeJesus. Born July 11th at 7:06am, weighing 8.7 pounds and 21 inches long). Mom and baby are doing great. |

Wow! Our campgrounds are still inundated with water from the Platte River! The water recedes about one inch each day, and we still have a long way to go before we reach normal river levels. All of the rain we have received the past several days has not helped our situation, either. We hope to be back in business by December.

We certainly have experienced the Lord's blessings these past few weeks. We are excited to report that the flood waters have receded enough to allow us to move back to our property! We certainly have quite of bit of clean-up and renovations, so we will be keeping up with our guests to let them know the availability of our facilities. |
